In-depth interviews with the movers and shakers of the financial world, hosted by Kevin Cook or Jud Pyle.
Jud Pyle interviews John Person, co-founder & CEO of National Futures.
ONN.tv Chief Investment Strategist Jud Pyle gets the scoop on the markets and what’s on the docket for the Forex & Options Expo in Las Vegas.
Jud Pyle : What is National Futures focusing on here at the conference?
John Person: We give people specific recommendations and educational materials. I incorporate candles, pivots and momentum. We’re also here teaching one of the aspects of trading called seasonality of the markets. We compiled information on commodities and how it relates to supply and demand cycles.
JP: What’s your view on the market?
JPerson: let’s back up – I thought we were exiting the recession back in February. There were a couple hints: We were starting to see a double bottom in NASDAQ. We started to see an increase in prices in transportation. Banks were stabilizing. Some of my work also deals with stuff that I was introduced to 30 years ago, which is business cycles. If you’re joining the party now, you’re a little late. I’m starting to lightly exit long positions up here. We have been long since March. I saw S&Ps can press 10, but watch out.
