KLA-Tencor Corporation (KLAC)
No notable news today but more than 5,000 contracts have traded at the July 26 call strike, going off around 75 cents per contract. Open interest heading into today’s trading was just 1,181 contracts.
Endo Pharmaceuticals (ENDP)
Reuters reports that a U.S. advisory panel has called for greater restrictions on the widely-used pain reliever acetaminophen, in both over-the-counter and prescription products. The group urged a ban on prescription products that use this drug, namely Abbot Laboratories’ (ABT) Vicodin and Endo’s Percocet, both of which combine acetaminophen with opiates.
Active today are the August 17.50 calls, with volume of more than 2,500 on open interest of 33. The stock is down less than 1% at $17.75.
