12:27 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 03/19/2010 (MidnightTrader) — Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) and DreamWorks Animation SKG partnered to sell toys and other products tied to DreamWorks’ upcoming movie "How to Train Your Dragon," according to Marketwatch.
The deal is different than other partnership deals in that the two parties came together more than a year ago, before the film was created, to talk about toys and other products, package design and parallel marketing, MarketWatch reported, citing a Wal-Mart spokeswoman.
Wal-Mart shares were down $0.40, 0.72%, to $55.54.
