Technology shares are on the rise before the bell Friday, as expectations of a resolution between China and Google Inc. (GOOG) over their Internet row on censorship may be reached soon. Meanwhile, Nokia Corp. (NOK) and Apple Inc. (AAPL) will seek a U.S. court hearing on a patent battle between the two companies in mid-2012. Finland’s Nokia has accused Apple of using its patent technologies on iPhones without paying for them. As for Apple’s iPad, the company has started taking pre-orders online from 0830 ET.
