AEP rose $.60 or 1.8 percent, to $33.42.
ConEd rose $.78 or 1.8 percent, to $43.59.
Duke Energy rose $.47 or 2.9 percent, to $16.79.
Pepco Holdings rose $.33 or 2.1 percent, to $16.24.
