Chevron rose $.61 or .8 percent, to $79.64.
ConocoPhillips rose $.15 or .3 percent, to $52.83.
Exxon Mobil rose $.47 or .6 percent, to $76.44.
Marathon Oil rose $.37 or 1.1 percent, to $33.37.
